Glass Type: Glass Ceramics
Description
Corning(R) PYROCERAM(R) is a transparent glass-ceramic having almost a zero thermal expansion. It is an excellent choice for applications when there is the probability of high heat and cold shock. PYROCERAM(R) is widely used for residential applications such as fireplace and wood burning stove windows, oven windows, broiler windows and other such appliances. PYROCERAM(R) is also used in architectural and outdoor lighting, electronics, UV light-wave blocking applications and chemical process sight glass.
